3. Parties want to cooperate with each other in the following forms with the strong conviction that they will develop an inter-university (virtual) campus, in the framework of the knowledge square with particular attention to the horizontal priorities – digital and green transition, inclusion and regional development –, and enrich the educational and research opportunities and experiences of their organisations in the thematic areas of entrepreneurial willingness and competences and institutional sustainability.

We envision a 4+4+4-year future in which the ENVISAGE Alliance responds to global and European environmental and higher education challenges and builds on the strengths of its partner universities, carrying out joint education, research, innovation and service to society activities for Europe’s sustainability transformation in its six pillars of (1) business and entrepreneurship, (2) social impacts, (3) environment and energy, (4) digitalisation and technology (5) regulations and compliance, and (6) culture, art and design.

4.2. The mission of the Alliance is to

• • • Contribute to thriving the economic, social and environmental surroundings of the partners using the synergy of the partners’ intellectual potentials through the balanced development of the knowledge square:
      • challenge-based higher education,
      • mission-oriented research,
      • human-centred innovation and
      • engaged services for the society
      • Support the development by massive and seamless mobility of students, academics and staff (physical, virtual or hybrid mobility)
      • Help the green and digital transition
      • Elaborate step by step a joint, integrated governance for the activities of the project preparing the long-term objective, a joint, whole-institutional governance of the European University.
